Additional Safety and Operation Instructions
Make sure that the voltage of the motor is the
same as that of the power grid.
Carefully read instructions and get familiar with
the controls and proper used of the equipment.
Remember that the operator or user is responsible
for any accident or damage involving people or
their properties.
Use the shredder in a flat place and free of
obstacles.
Avoid operating the equipment in humid places.
Use the equipment in a well lit environment.
Before feeding any kind of material, start the motor
and wait for it to reach maximum revolution.
Do not introduce anything in the equipment with
the motor off.
Do not use the equipment during periods of
power supply failure.
Whenever cleaning or servicing, make sure the
motor is off and the blade is still. Then unplug the
equipment, disconnect the cardan shaft from the
tractor and remove the spark plug cable from the
gasoline motor.
If the equipment starts to vibrate, turn it off
immediately. Check the cause of the vibration as
it indicates that the equipment needs adjustment
and repair.
Attention!
Check frequently if all the screws are
properly fixed, mainly from the cutting
set. Keep blade and counter blade
distance always adjusted to ensure good
performance of the shredder.
Check the condition of the electric cable and never
repair it with electrical tape, if necessary, replace the
electric cable.
Never use a water jet to clean the equipment.

Use a cloth soaked in neutral detergent.

Never operate the shredder without the belt
protection.
If the shredder does not develop the necessary
power, get in touch with TRAPP Technical Assistance
or with an electrician to check the conditions of
the power system to avoid motor burnout due to
overload.
If the motor does not start (locked) when actuating
the shredder, turn it off immediately.
Frequently clean the shredder to avoid debris
buildup.
Should you notice any difference in the operation of
the shredder, turn it off and look for TRAPP nearest
Technical Assistance shop.
When introducing organic material (residual food,
vegetable and fruit), do so with a suitable instrument,
never with your hand or metallic material.
Operator requirements
Every operator that uses the equipment must be
competent and, necessarily, attend to the following
characteristics:
Physics: have a good vision, coordination and
ability to perform all the necessary functions for
the use of the equipment.
Mental: have the ability to understand and apply
the rules and safety precautions established in this
Instruction Manual. The user must be attentive
to their own safety, other people's safety and
avoid damage to the equipment.
Training: the user must have read, studied and
understood this manual, graphics and diagrams.
Must be qualified and trained for the use or
maintenance of the equipment.
Attention!
Whenever cleaning or servicing, make
sure the equipment is off and the blades
are still as they continue to move for some
seconds.
