Gasoline motor
Lubrication
Use only oil according to the recommendation of
the motor manual, classified with service grade
SG-SL by the API. Also, select the SAE viscosity
grade of the oil according to the expected opera-
ting temperature.
To change motor oil
Establish the temperature range foreseen before
next change of oil. All oils must correspond to API
SG-SL classification.
1. Equipment must be on a flat and level surface.

2. Hot oil will drain better.
3. Collect used oil in proper container.
4. Carefully unscrew oil container (1) to prevent
accidents such as burns.

Attention!
If motor is hot when changing oil, be
careful to remove oil container. Hot oil
is released with more pressure, and may
cause burns.
5. When oil has been fully drained, screw back oil
container.
6. Remove the crankcase oil inlet cover (2) and insert
20W50 oil according to the motor model.
a. 13.5 HP motor (Briggs & Stratton): 1.15 liters.
b. 15 HP motor (TRAPP / Lifan): 1.1 litros
c. 16 HP motor (Briggs & Stratton): 1.65 liters.

Note:
Frequently check level of motor oil to
prevent damage due to lack of oil.
Note:
The gasoline motors that leave the
factory equipped in the shredder have an oil level
sensor, if the motor does not have the minimum
amount of oil the motor does not work. Violating
this sensor causes the loss of the warranty.
