4.3. Cleaning and lubrificating the machine
The machines should be cleaned daily as to prevent solid particles and dust affecting
the efficiency of the mechanical parts. We recommended you should any accumulation
and dust from the air vents of solid particles. Lubricate the connecting points of the
combs and the mechanical moving parts regularly and every day.
4.4. Storage
If you do not expect to use the machines for some time proceed as follows:
-
disconnect the machines from the power supply;
-
clean the machines: remove any dirt from in the midst of mechanical parts and
motor;
-
check and, where necessary, replace any damaged/worn parts;
-
lubricate the mechanical parts of the machine carefully with high-temperature
grease;
-
cover the machines to stop dust settling on it.
Carrying out the above maintenance tasks will ensure that the machine is in perfect
working order when work is recommenced.
4.5. Dismantling the machine
Disconnect the machines from the electrical power supply and cut the power lead.
The machines are made of materials that can be re-used or recycled, the most
important of which is iron. Hand your machines over to an official materials recycling
centre.
Help safeguard the environment by applying proper waste disposal practices to the
packaging of the machine too.
Your local authority will be able to provide you with information on best waste disposal
practices so as to ensure observation of environmental protection standards.

Align the holes of the bearings of the
upper fingers (4) with the holes indicated
in the guard as 1 and insert the screw (9)
with the washer (10); insert the washer
(11) and the nut (12) on the screw on the
opposite side.
Similarly, Align the holes of the bearings
of the lower fingers (6) with the holes
indicated in the guard as 2 and repeat the
fastening operations with the screw, the
washers and the nut.
Reinstall the safety covers and tighten
both screws.
