Install the filter in the cold water pipes upstream of
the objects to be protected (see installation dia-
gram). Always provide stop valves.
Install the connecting module or connector in the
direction of flow in a horizontal or vertical cold wa-
ter pipe (observe direction of flow arrow).

1. Turn the red retaining ring to the left limit stop.
2. Press the prongs of the device into the spaces
provided
3. and rotate the device clockwise 45° to the limit
stop.
4. Pull the red retaining ring with both hands to-
wards the device until it clicks into place. The
device cannot now be rotated unintentionally.
To release the filter, press the retaining ring to-
wards the connecting module.

Screw the filter to the connector using 4 hexagon
screws and the seal (screws and washers in-
cluded).
Check the seal for proper fit. Tighten the screws
evenly and crosswise.

Route the wastewater connection to the drain so
that no reflux occurs.
