Burn hazard!
The soleplate becomes very hot during operation and
hot steam will be emitted!
− Always let the steam iron cool off completely before
you clean it!
− Do not lean over the device while hot steam is
rising.
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water that has penetrated the housing may cause a
short circuit.
− Never submerge the steam iron in water.
− Make sure that no water penetrates the housing.
NOTICE!
Risk due to improper operation!
Improper handling of the steam iron may result in
damage.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, sharp or me-
tallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrap-
ers or similar. They could damage the surfaces.

General cleaning

1. Disconnect the power plug before cleaning.
2. Let the steam iron cool off completely.
3. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the steam iron.
4. Thoroughly dry all parts after cleaning.
5. If you do not use the steam iron for a prolonged period, stow it in the original
packaging to protect it against dust.
