1.3 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1.3.1 This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for battery charger Model L3645.
1.3.2 Before using battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on battery charger, battery, and
product using battery.
1.3.3 CAUTION
To reduce risk of injury, charge only batteries mentioned in.
1.3.3.1 Equipment. Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage.
• Only use the charger to charge batteries. Do not use it for purposes, it is not made for.
In case of doubts, contact Akku Power GmbH Batterien.
• Use the battery charger only indoors.
• Do not expose the battery charger to damp or wet conditions.
• Never carry the battery charger by its power cord. Never pull the power cord to disconnect the battery
charger from the power outlet. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Do not use the battery charger on a highly inflammable surface or in an inflammable
environment.
• Do not attempt to charge a wet battery pack.
• When not in use, store the battery charger in a dry place, locked up securely and out of reach
of children.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. This
appliance can be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Persons who are not able to use the battery charger in a safe manner, due to their physical,
sensory or mental condition, or due to their inexperience, must not use the battery charger
without the supervision or instruction from a skilled person.
• Strictly observe the minimum and the maximum charging temperature
(chapter 4: "technical specifications").
• Do not use a damaged battery charger (e.g. when it has been dropped, or when the power
cord or the power plug have been damaged). When the cable or the plug are defect, they
shall only be repaired by Akku Power GmbH Batterien or by a professional, authorized by
Akku Power GmbH Batterien or a similar qualified person, in order to avoid any hazard.
• Do not open the charger.
• Risk of short-circuit: protect the battery charger against metal objects.
• This equipment is intended for use by professionals. It has been tested and found to comply
with the applicable limits.
• These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment.
• This product is suitable for industrial use. This equipment generates and uses radio frequencies
which can be transmitted. If the equipment is not used as explained in the user manual, inter
ferences with the wireless communication can occure.
• Do no disassemble either the battery or the charger.
• Only use the battery charger to charge the specifically by Akku Power defined battery.
• Make sure to keep the ventilation slots of the battery charger free from metal chips.
