Ensure that when the appliance is installed it is easily accessible to an engineer in the event of a
breakdown.
All installations must comply with the local authority's requirements for the discharge of
exhaust air.
Incorrect installation may affect the safety of the appliance.
Wall Mounting:
The cooker hoods must be placed at a distance of 65 cm above the cooking surface of an
electric hob or 75 cm above the cooking surface of a gas or dual fuel hob.
To mount on the wall, drill two 8 mm holes 430 mm apart with the vent hole on the top of the
cooker hood in the middle. Make sure the hood is aligned directly over the hob.
Insert the plastic wall plugs (Supplied) into the holes.
Insert the screws into the plastic wall plugs and tighten them leaving 1 mm protruding from the
wall.
Mount the cooker hood onto the two screws and mark the bottom two screw positions.
Remove the hood and drill the bottom two screw holes and insert the plastic wall plugs.
Mount the hood on the top screws, insert the bottom screws and fully tighten all four screws.
Fix the air outlet adaptor onto the cooker hood.
Cupboard Mounting:
Drill 4 x 4 mm holes in the bottom of the hanging cupboard.
