Health hazard!
The undiluted agents are harmful to health if they come into
direct contact with eyes or skin. Wear goggles and protective
gloves when working with these agents.
Potential damage to component parts!
For cleaning and disinfecting only apply the described
procedures and use the specified cleaning agents and
disinfectants. Other agents and procedures, dosages and
exposure times can damage component parts.

communication unit. The plug inserted into the radio unit may
not be immersed in water.

The specified cleaning agents and disinfectants are not
approved in all countries. Dräger tests and recommends
different cleaning agents and disinfectants. Information on
which other cleaning agents and disinfectants can also be
used is available from Dräger.
If the full face mask is cleaned and disinfected manually, the
communication unit can remain mounted to the full face mask. It may,

however, be cleaned separately as well. It is not necessary to disinfect
the communication unit.
1. Dismantle the communication unit from the full face mask.
2. If neither the insert for the radio connection cable nor the insert for
the Bluetooth connection is mounted, plug in the dummy insert. If
the contacts of the radio connector on the communication unit are
open, water can penetrate the communication unit and damage it.
3. If no earphone is plugged in, make sure to insert the
corresponding plug into the earphone jack.
4. Fit the protective cap onto the full face mask and clean the full face
mask in accordance with the corresponding instructions for use.
5. Clean the communication unit with lukewarm water with the addition

Cleaner and a soft cloth (temperature: max. 30°C,
concentration depending on the level of contamination: 0.5 - 1%)
