1. General features – This type of mixer is designed for all types of installation, from accumulation systems
(centralized systems, electric water heaters), to instant heaters (gas water heaters, wall boilers).
2. Specifications for use
Minimum difference between cold and mixed water temperatures:
3. Operating pressures
The operating pressure should be as balanced as possible in order to maintain the maximum efficiency.
If the inlet pressure is higher than 5 bar, it is necessary to install pressure reducers upline from the mixer.
If there is a big difference in pressure between the two inlets, the mixed water temperature should be
recalibrated.
4. Technical Information – The temperature adjustment knob is preset at 38°C with auto-stop function at 43°C
to prevent scalding. The mixer has two G 3/4" connections (with G 1/2" eccentric cams) for the hot and cold
water inlets. On the left-hand side of the mixer is a diverter which acts as a stop cock: in the central position it
stops t he water supply, by turning it in a clockwise direction its supplies water to the upper outlet, by turning in
an anticlockwise direction is supplies water to the lower outlet.
5. Recommendations for installers
• Two independent delivery pipes are required for the hot and cold water.
• The recommended pipe diameter is 22 mm for low pressure systems.
• If more than one mixer is installed, the minimum diameter required is 28 mm.
Ensure that the flow is adequate in both delivery pipes.
BRASS CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
The water contains limestone (in varying amounts), which may leave deposits on the surface of the products
as a result of the water evaporation. It's possible to prevent the formation of these deposits, keeping clean the
products. It deals with drying them with a soft cloth (microfiber type or buckskin) immediately after the use. Do
not use in any case abrasive cloths and caustic or aggressive substances (caustic or acidic). Do not use spray
cleaners directly on the products but only on the cloth used for the cleaning. Do not use detergents containing
hydrochloric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, hydrofluoric acid because these acids can cause damage, even
if used only once. Do not use cleaners containing bleach or phosphoric acid. Avoid to use detergent mixing
purposes. Always rinse the products after their cleaning with run water, and dry with a soft cloth. Finishes
Chromium (CR): The chromed surfaces should be cleaned with a mild detergent (devoid of what was previously
indicated) or with mild soap and water and devoid of abrasive. Finishes Gold and Nickel Phosphorus (LU-OL-
NF): Surfaces with gold coatings such as LU & OL or NF finish, must be cleaned with a special mild cleaning.
Color or protected by a transparent coating finishes (BR-10-31-AS): The colored or the transparent
protective coating surfaces, must be cleaned with a soft cloth and running water or with a very mild detergent
(neutral and free of abrasives).
STAINLESS STEEL CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
A soft cloth (microfiber type or buckskin) is ideal for the cleaning of the steel parts. Do not use in any case,
abrasive or corrosive (caustic or acidic), do not use detergents containing bleach (sodium hypochlorite), whose
can damage the the surface. The abrasive powders leave scratches as well as common steel wool pads. The
stainless steel surfaces must be cleaned with a neutral detergent, rinsing and drying it with care, the glass
cleaning chloride-free detergents are also recommended. Please note that the cleaning movements must always
be in the brushing direction of the steel.
Do not use abrasive cloths and / or detergents containing abrasives or alcohol purposes.
