WaveInjector WI-400
If the pipe has a thermal insulation, it has to be adapted. For the minimum distances between coupling plate and insula-
tion, see section 4.1.1.
If the pipe has a heat tracing, it must not have any contact to the coupling plate. For the minimum distances between cou-
pling plate and heat tracing, see section 4.1.2.
If the WaveInjector is used outdoor, it has to be weather protected, see section 4.1.3.
4.1.1
Pipes with thermal insulation
Important!
An overheating or supercooling of the transducers can result in measurement failures or transducer damages.
Observe the minimum distances between coupling plate and insulation, see section Fig. 4.2.
A thermal insulation of the WaveInjector is not admissible as the heat exchange on the coupling plate will be reduced and
the admissible operating temperature range of the transducers can be exceeded. The heat exchange between the cou-
pling plate and the environment must always be guaranteed.
For the minimum distances between coupling plate and insulation, see Fig. 4.2.
