3 INSTALLATION
3.1
Power Supply
The MO-16X is an equipment powered through the mains for its operation.
3.1.1 Operation using the Mains
Connect the instrument to the mains through the AC voltage connector [14]
located on the MO-16X rear panel.
Check if the mains voltage is according to the equipment specifications.
3.2
Installation and Start-up
The MO-16X modulator is designed for use as a rack-mounted 19 inches device
(1U chassis).
Switch the main switch [15] located in the rear panel to position I (power on). After
a successfully start up, the equipment emits four acoustic tones to indicate that it is
ready to begin operation. When the equipment is connected to the mains, the green
LED LINE [3] remains lit.
