Working with the mortising unit (optional)

 Clamp the milling tool required for chuck (A) of the planer
shaft
 lay up the workpiece on the mortising table
 Tilt the downholder (B) to the middle of the workpiece
 Pull down the lever of the downholder to clamp the
workpiece
 Adjust the table height with the hand wheel (C) to the
requested height of the milling tool
 Adjust the horizontal travel of the table with both set
bars (D)
 To start the machine push start button (F)
 Move the table with the lever (E) in left direction to the
limiter
 Press down the workpiece carefully on the milling tool and
up to max. penetration depth of milling (depending on the
milling tool)
 Move the lever (E) carefully to the right direction to the
limiter
 Repeat this process until the requested cutting depth has
been reached
 Move the lever backwards to release the milling tool out of
the workpiece
 After the working process stop the machine by pushing the
stop button (G)
 Before further activities wait until blade shaft is at a
standstill!

After the working process the machine must be turned off:
push stop button (A) at the switch unit
disconnect the plug from the switch unit so the machine is disconnected from the
power supply
adjust the blade so that the planer shaft is completely covered
