Maintenance:
Do not practise any cleaning or maintenance
work, if your charger is plugged in!
In order to guarantee a perfect function of the
charger keep the contacts inside the charg-
ing boxes free of dirt. Use nothing but a dry
cloth to clean the charger!
Give used or damaged batteries to the
battery collecting point.
Place the exhausted battery in the charg-
ing compartment of the table power sup-
ply unit (orientation is marked in the com-
partment). A timer is started when the
battery is inserted. A lamp 1 indicates
that charging cycle (14 hours) is taking
place. After this period the unit switches
over to conservation charging.
During charging (lamp is on) the battery
must not be removed and re-inserted in
between otherwise the charging cycle will
be restarted.
Overcharging the battery will not occur if
the instructions are followed correctly.

Notes:
If the unit is not used, it should remain
connected to the power supply unit. This
avoids any data loss and also charges
the battery inside the unit.
In the interest of mobile use of the unit, a
charged replacement battery should also
always be available.
