4.5. Lubrication of pneumatic system

This electric tool comes with lubricated pneumatic system. However, this hammer is a
precision-built machine that works at high frequencies and impact energies. To prevent
premature wear of your components and to take full advantage of their maximum
performance, regularly inspect the condition of the grease present in the pneumatic
system housing (access to crankshaft, rod and piston), which tends to wear out and be
consumed over time. It is very important that this lubrication is made with the specific
mass.
The mixing of base greases and different specifications is prohibited and will cause
permanent damage to the internal parts of the hammer.
It is recommended that the power tool be referred to the PECOL Technical Assistance
Service for proper lubrication to be performed. However, if circumstances require
it to be done autonomously, it may be done by removing the housing cover from the
pneumatic system, removing the old mass, cleaning and inserting new mass so that the
parts and the wall are with a layer of grease.
Do not allow any impurities, water and abrasive elements to fall into the housing of
the pneumatic system when opened. Perform this activity in a clean and controlled
environment.
Do not put excess dough. Excessive lubrication is also detrimental, leading to loss of
performance, heating and may even permanently damage overload parts.
