MOBILE TEST BENCH
– Then connect the other end of the compressed-air hose to a compressed-
air inlet on the specimen.
– Now put the associated switch cock (S1 - S3) into the opened position.
– Then follow the previously stated steps in the area 'Supply' for the
required compressed-air supply.
– Now apply a pressure into the specimen via the selected compressed-air
outlet (C1 - C3).
This pressure can now be adjusted using the associated precision
control valve (V1 - V3).
The pressure is indicated on the corresponding pressure gauge
(G1 - G3).
Area B 'Measurement'
The 'measurement' area is responsible for measuring the pneumatic
pressures within the specimen. Four independent measurement circuits (G4
- G7), to which one compressed-air coupling (C4 - C7) and one switch cock
(S4 - S7) are respectively assigned, are available for this purpose.
– Before each measurement, make sure that the switches S4-S7 are set to
the 'Measure' position.
– To make a measurement, connect one of the included compressed-air
hoses to the desired compressed-air outlet on the specimen.
– Then connect the other end of the compressed-air hose to one of the
compressed-air couplings (C4 - C7).
Once the connection has been established, the pressure is indicated
on the selected pressure gauge (G4 - G7).
– Having completed the measurement, disconnect the compressed-air
hose from the mobile test bench.
CAUTION
Damage to the pressure gauge
The measurement circuits must be vented after each
measurement to prevent damaging the pressure
gauges.
– For this purpose, put the switch cocks S4 - S7 into
the 'Vent' position. The cocks must be kept in this
position until the pressure gauge used (G4 - G7)
indicates a pressure of 0 bar.
Area D 'Humidity outlet'
The 'Humidity outlet' area is responsible for draining moisture from the
mobile test bench's compressed-air system.
– For this purpose, connect the coupling of the blue supply hose to the barb
nipple P
on the mobile test bench.
in
– Make sure that the S8 switch cock is in zero position.
– Now connect the blue supply hose to the compressed-air system on site.
– Put the switch cock S8 into the opened position.
– On the precision control valve V8, set a pressure of 5 bar.
– Now connect a further compressed-air hose to the compressed-air
coupling C9.
