Instructions for use with Conveyor Belts
The T-4000 is a machine for professional use which has a large crushing capacity when used on any type of hard material ( non-reinforced concrete ,bricks, extra hard bricks, ceramics and
stoneware, marble, natural stone etc) with a maximum volume of 30x15x10cm.
The following materials should not be crushed using the machine: reinforced concrete, metals, wood, paper, cardboard, plastic and other non-hard materials.
B. PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTATION
The crusher is delivered connected to a pallet with screws and wrapped in a plastic transparent retractile case. It can be lifted using the four eyebolts on the upper part of the structure. It can
also be moved by forklift trucks using the spaces for prongs in the chassis.
C. SOME PRIOR CONSIDERATIONS
Things to check before starting the machine
1.-
Once the machine has been unwrapped, check that there are no damaged or
broken parts. If there are, replace them with original parts. As they are electrical
components, replace them with those of similar reference. If in doubt, consult the
manufacturer.
2.-
With the T-4000, it is necessary to check that the motor is moving in the correct
direction. To do this, once the machine is functioning, simply look through the spy-
hole on the lid of the drive belt and check that the direction of the motor is the
same as that shown on the lid (Figure 1). If the direction of the motor is incorrect,
the direction of the phases in the connection base need to modified. This
operation should be carried out by an electrician or a suitably qualified person.
3.-
Care is needed with the working environment. It is advisable to use the T-4000 on
flat surfaces and firmly fixed to the floor before crushing so as to achieve safe
working conditions.
4.-
It is advisable to use protective glasses and gloves as well as earplugs while
functioning ( Figure 2 ). It will facilitate working with the machine.
5.-
Do not touch the inside of the machine without having previously ensured that it
has been unplugged and that it cannot be started.
6.-
T-4000 complies with the existing legislation on noise levels. If working outdoors,
it is advisable to use absorbent screens placed 2.5 metres from the crusher to
reduce noise levels.
7.-
At no time can the crusher be started if it is not properly closed. A security system
adapted to the crusher detects the position of the different components. Unless
they are properly closed, the crusher will not start.
D. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WITH A CONVEYOR BELT
Once the conveyor belt and the crusher have been connected to the electricity mains, we can start working. Make sure that the moment the crusher starts to function the conveyor belt does
also. The conveyor will start functioning or stop at the same time as the crusher. It is recommended that when being used with a conveyor belt that the T-4000 is fixed firmly to the floor.
For use with conveyor belt, consideration must be given to the place where the residue falls. A container should be put under the crusher to collect the crushed material(Figure 10 ).
On the conveyor belt, there is a chute where material can be loaded ( Figure 11 ). The belt will feed rubble into the crusher and the user only has to worry about feeding in rubble and other
materials so as to obtain maximum efficiency and to clear waste from the container if one is being used.
1.-
Position the machine where it is to be used. To make things easier, it advisable to
have the material to be crushed close to hand.
2.-
Position the crusher so that the material falls into the feeder tube ( Figure 12 ).
3.-
Check that the machine is receiving sufficient water and that the supply does not
fail during the crushing process.
4.-
Check that the lid of the chute is properly closed. If it is not properly closed, the
crusher cannot be started ( Figure 7 ).
5.-
Turn on the water tap. It is advisable to open the tap only a little so as to supply
some moisture during the crushing process and avoid creating dust ( Figure 9 ).
6.-
Place the container where the residue is going to come out ( Figure 13 ).
7.-
The machine is now ready to function.
8.-
Connect the machine to the mains and press the starter switch ( Figure 4, 14 ).
9.-
Wait until the machine reaches its maximum number of revolutions to obtain
maximum efficiency.
10.- Once the maximum number of revolutions has been reached, the material can be
placed on the conveyor belt which will carry it to the crusher ( Figure 15 ). Take
care to empty both the barrel of the crusher and the container for rubble as it fills
up (Figure 16).
11.- At no time should hands or arms be placed inside the machine while it is
functioning. If it is necessary to manipulate inside the machine the
machine must be stopped, unplugged and the water supply turned off.

You are advised to always follow the instructions so that a job, which would
otherwise be dangerous, can be carried out simply and without risk for the user.
9.-
Before using the machine, check that there no damaged, worn or broken parts. If
there are, replace or repair them immediately.
10.- Check that the tension and frequency of the electricity mains is the same as that
indicated in the characteristics panel of the machine ( figure 3 ).
11.- The electricity mains should have an earth
(differential). When using a cable extension, check that the cable has a width of at
least 2.5.
12.- Connect the crusher to the electricity mains from the base which is on the
electricity panel. ( Figure 4 ). If you wish to use the feeder conveyor belt, connect it
to the base on the lower part of electricity panel which has been specially prepared
for this function ( Figure 5 ).
13.- Check that the upper and lower barrels are properly closed with all the screws (
Figure 6 ). If they are, the crusher will work without any problems. If a screw is
not inserted there is a risk that the machine will lose effectiveness and may be
damaged.
14.- Check that the lid of the upper barrel is properly closed and screwed down. If it is
not, the crusher will not start functioning ( Figure 7 ).
15.- Connect the water hose to the crusher, making sure that water reaches it ( Figure
8). Open the water socket of the crusher slightly so as to obtain a dry residue,
which can be used as material filler without producing dust during the crushing
process. ( Figure 9).
The entry of water into the crusher is controlled by an electric valve which starts
functioning the moment it detects material entering the crusher.
Only after we have made sure that the machine is completely
disconnected and there is no risk of it starting up again can we
manipulate the interior of the machine.
12.- Once all the material has been crushed, let it continue working so that the water
finishes cleaning the interior. After 1 minute, the machine can be turned off.
13.- The machine must not be turned on again until after 30 seconds, which is the
estimated time that the machine needs to stop completely. If it is necessary to gain
access to the interior of the machine, to open take out the screws of the barrel lid
and press the black switch. This switch opens the lid..
1 4.- Once finished manipulating the interior of the T-4000, close the lid with the
appropriate screws and the machine is ready to crush again.
