E. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WITH REFUSE CHUTES
For use with refuse chutes, the T-4000 comes with a fitting for chutes which the user will have to attach to the upper part of the crusher.
It is recommended that when using with refuse chutes, the crusher be placed over a container. There is an accessory which enables the T-4000 to be fitted this way. Next, connect the refuse
chute to the fitting so that the material can easily pass to the interior of the crusher.
The position of the crusher in relation to the refuse chute is the following; the part where the chute is to be fitted must be situated on the same side as the refuse chute.
1.-
Place the fitting of the refuse chute on the upper part of the crusher making sure it
is properly fixed together ( Figure 17 ).
2.-
If working with a container, attach the accessory for containers ( Figure 18 )
3.-
Place the T-4000 on top of the accessory for containers, using a crane or with a
trolley ( Figure 19 ). To transport the machine by crane, the T-4000 comes with a
handle with which the machine can be picked up and moved around the building
site or put onto a lorry without any problem at all. To transport the T-4000 by
forklift truck , in the chassis there are spaces where the prongs of the forklift
truck can be placed. These spaces are positioned in such a way as to ensure that
the crusher is well balanced while being transported ( Figure 20 ).
4.-
Put the refuse chutes inside e the Fitting ( Figure 21 ).
5.-
Connect to the water socket and turn it on slightly ( Figure 8, 9 )
In the case of a shortage in the electrical current that makes it necessary to access the machine's interior, a key is provided with which to unblock the lock. Once the machine has been
unblocked, it is then possible to access the interior of the Tritutador grinder. In the case of carrying out this operation with the electric current connected, the machine cannot be operated
again until the safety detector is blocked once more.( Figure 22 )
F. SECURITY MEASURES
1.-
Do not use the machine in the rain. Excessive moisture can cause electrical
discharges and damage the insulation of the motor.
2.-
The working area must be brightly lit. In dark working areas, the risk of accidents
increases.
3.-
The measured acoustic pressure A is less than 108 dB (A) during the crushing
process.
4.-
Use the recommended accessories.
5.-
Check that the accessories and spare parts have been properly installed in the
correct place. It is dangerous to use the machine with accessories which have not
been properly fitted.
6.-
Check the machine each time it is to be used. Always remember to put away the
various tools that have been used for inspecting and carrying out repairs.
7.-
The ventilators of the motor are essential for refrigeration. At no time should they
be obstructed as this lowers the efficiency of the motor.
8.-
Use the proper clothing for this type of work. Do not wear a tie, have sleeves

H. MAINTENANCE
After using the machine, it is very important that those areas where residue could remain are cleaned, as well as those exits where the material passes through.
The Changing of the hammers of the crusher should only be done at an official after- sales service point.
The changing of the spray filters is done by taking off the moistening tube by loosening the three screws found on the lower part of the tube ( Figure 23 ), and once it has been
removed, the spray filters can be changed ( Figure 24 ).

undone, knitted gloves etc.
9.-
Wear protective glasses, earmuffs, a helmet, and gloves while the machine is
functioning. Without any of this gear, a simple and straightforward job becomes
relatively dangerous.
10.- Working in conditions which are unstable or there is a lack of balance is dangerous.
11.- Use the machine at the voltage indicated in the table of characteristics.
12.- Unplug the machine in the following circumstances; when finished using it, when
accessories are going to be changed, when cleaning it, when checking it or if there
is a cut in the electricity supply.
13.- Do not pull on the lead to unplug.
14.- Do not leave the cable in areas where it could be cut or where there is a lot of heat
etc. If the cable is damaged, stop the machine immediately and change it or repair it.
15.- Handle the machine with maximum care.
16.- Use only those extensions which are officially recognised as being fit for use
outdoors.
