FEATURES OF ELECTRONIC REGULATION
Electronic regulation takes the form of
a pCO
control board for each com-

pressor and a display terminal for each
machine. The control boards (in mul-
ticompressor machines) and the ter-
minal are interconnected in a PLAN
network. In multicompressor machines
the board that controls compressor
No. 1 is the master board, while the
others are slaves. Each board, both
master and slave type, is connected
to transducers, loads and alarms relat-
ing to the compressor which it con-
trols, whereas the general transducers,
loads and alarms are connected only

Master pCO
4x20 LCD terminal for
programming of all the pCO
to the master board. The master board
therefore controls the main machine
functions such as the working thermo-
stat, the total recovery thermostat, rota-
tion of the compressors and the general
alarms.
Each board is identified by an address
for communication in the PLAN and this
also determines the board type (master
board address 1, display terminal board
address 5.)
