ALARMS
General description
The alarms are divided into three
categories:
1 - REPORT-ONLY ALARMS(report only
on display, alarm relay)
2 - CIRCUIT ALARMS(de-activate the
relative circuit only, report on display,
alarm relay)
3 - SERIOUS ALARM (de-activates all
the system circuits, report on display,
alarm relay)
The alarms must all be considered of
the manual reset type, except those
where specified differently.
1 - REPORT-ONLY ALARMS
Pump maintenance alarm
Compressor maintenance alarm
Clock board broken or disconnected
alarm
Alarm: units disconnected from the
network
automatic reset plan
2 - CIRCUIT ALARMS
- Alarm: high pressure from transduc-
er/pressure-switch
Setpoint may be set for a thresh-
old and differential of alarm from
transducer
- High pressure alarm C
(water/water) from transducer
Setpoint may be set for a threshold
and duration above threshold
- Low pressure alarm from transduc-
er/pressure-switch delayed on com-
pressor start-up and from the end of
defrost cycle bypassed during and
after pumpdown cycle
32
Setpoint may be set for alarm by-
pass time from CP startup and end
of defrost cycle
Setpoint may be set for a thresh-
old and differential of alarm from
transducer
- Low pressure alarm LOW from trans-
ducer, can be enabled/disabled
from menu
setpoint may be set for a thresh-
old and differential of alarm from
transducer
- Compressor thermal alarm from
digital input
- Oil differential alarm from digital
input delayed on acquisition
Setpoint may be set for the acquisi-
tion delay time
- Fan 1-2 thermal alarm from digital
input, immediate shut-down of fan
with manual reset
- Evaporator/condenser anti-freeze
alarm from temperature probe
setpoint settable for trip threshold
and differential
- Discharge gas temperature alarm
from temperature probe
setpoint settable for trip threshold
and differential
- Pressure differential alarm from
pressure transducers, setpoint pres-
sure difference trip threshold
Setpoint settable delay from com-
pressor startup
- Alarm: enabled probes broken or
absent from B1 to B10 and from B1
EXP to B4 EXP
Probes or transducers
- Evaporator gas anti-freeze alarm
from temperature probe
Trip threshold and differential set-
table
- Relay increase/decrease alarm
from amperometric transformer
reading
- Alarm: amperometric transformer
fault
from amperometric transformer
reading
- Free-cooling flow switch alarm
from digital input
- Free-cooling pump thermal alarm
from digital input
3 - GENERAL ALARMS
- Alarms: lack of water flow
evaporator/condenser
from digital input
Setpoint may be set by bypass from
pump start
Setpoint may be set by acquisition
of reading when in steady state
- Serious alarm from digital input
with automatic reset
- Phase monitor alarm
from digital input
- Evaporator/condenser pump
thermal switch
from digital input
- Water inlet probe missing/broken
from analogue reading
- Expansion card missing/broken
with automatic reset
