ELECTRIC Versions:
Never continue operating the sweeper until the battery 3 fi g.18 runs completely fl at.
Battery charge indicator is a two colours indicator and functions as follow:
green = battery charged; red = battery discharged.
As soon as the battery starts to run down, stop work and recharge it as follow:
- disconnect connector 1 from socket 2 .
- connect the battery charger socket to the plug 1
WARNING!
Connect the cables to the battery charger before connecting the battery charger socket. Use a battery charger of 48V..
BATTERY
ELECTRIC Versions:
Check the electrolyte level in the battery at least every 8 hours and top up as necessary.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
ELECTRIC Versions:
Keep the batteries dry and clean. Pay particular attention to the terminals and terminal bolts.
At intervals depending on how much the sweeper is used, check the level of the electrolyte. Top up with distilled
water if necessary.
Periodically check the effi ciency of the battery charger.
Make sure that the area in which the battery is charged is well ventilated. Keep naked fl ames well away from the
battery, especially while it is being charged.
WARNING!
The liquid is corrosive. battery gases are explosive. never cause short-circuits.
Never reverse the polarity.
AUTONOMY
ELECTRIC Versions:
The motor-sweeper has a working autonomy of about 3-4 hours.
Perform the following checks if autonomy drops below this value:
- Check that the brush is not pressing too hard on the fl oor.
- Check that there is no string or wire, etc., entangled in or around the main brush which might cause friction
and increase power consumption.
- Check that the battery is fully charged when you start work.
