• After you have purchased a new cooling unit from Pfannenberg, we will properly dis-
pose of any old units in your possession. However, old units must be delivered to one
of our works free of charge.
• All cooling units produced by Pfannenberg are free from
– silicone compounds,
– PCB,
– PCT,
– asbestos,
– formaldehyde,
– cadmium,
– substances impairing wetting.
• Every cooling unit is checked to ensure that it is tight according to the provisions of
UVV-VGB 20 (German regulations covering accident prevention).
• Prior to delivery the electrical safety of every cooling unit is factory tested. This means
that, in accordance with UVV-VBG 4, §5 (4), the operating company is released from
the obligation to arrange for a test of the electrical part of the cooling unit before initial
start of operation.
When carrying out installation and maintenance work, observe the data printed on the ID
plate located on the right-hand side of the cooling unit.
