10) Rinse the water tank 0 with clean water and then fill it with clean water up
to the MAX mark .
11) Push the water tank 0 back into the appliance and press the Lungo
button . The pipes are now flushed with clean water .
12) As soon as the water tank 0 is empty, press and hold the Espresso
Lungo
slowly in order to quit descaling mode .

Storage

■ If you do not intend using the appliance for long periods, empty all pipes
(see section "Emptying the system") .
■ Allow the appliance cool down completely before putting it into storage .
■ Store the appliance at a clean and dry location .

Troubleshooting

Malfunction
The appliance is
not working .
Only hot water is
dispensed .

button, no liquid

Remedy
Connect the plug to the
power supply .
Switch the appliance on .
Contact the Customer
Service department .
Insert a capsule .
Stop the process by
pressing the Espresso
2 or Lungo
button .
WAIT 25 SECONDS and
open the capsule compart-
ment 3 by pulling the
lever 1 upwards .
Now proceed as
described in the section
"Emptying the system" .
