End of an inhalation session
Inhalation is ended as soon as no more
aerosol is generated. An audible signal
(2 beeps) is emitted and the following
indicator appears in the display of the
controller:
The controller switches itself off automati-
cally. If the controller switches itself off
considerably sooner or later than usual,
follow the instructions
(see "TROUBLESHOOTING" on
page 47).
Always check to make sure that the entire
dose of ARIKAYCE has been nebulised.
• Open the medication cap and check the
contents of the medication reservoir.
• If more than a few drops of ARIKAYCE
are still in the medication reservoir, con-
tinue the inhalation session by putting
the medication cap back in its place and
then pressing the ON/OFF button.
Info:
When the system is used regularly,
the time needed to complete the
nebulisation may slowly increase.
This is not a malfunction.
• Operation with the power adapter:
When the inhalation session has ended,
disconnect the power adapter from the
socket.
• Carry out the hygiene procedures (see
"CLEANING AND DISINFECTION" on
page 43) immediately after the inhala-
tion session has ended.
