8. GUARANTEE

The guarantee is only valid provided the unit has been put into operation and used in accordance with the instructions
given in the manual.
The electrodes inside the electrolyser cell are made of a precious metal which is by far the most expensive component
and at the same time the most fragile. It is therefore essential to comply with the instructions regarding cleaning and
water salinity so as to maintain the conditions required in order to ensure maximum chlorine production.
The unit is guaranteed for 3 years with effect from the date of purchase. Using the electrodes in water with a salt
content of less than 4 grams/litre will invalidate the guarantee.
Do not operate the unit with pool isolation valves closed as possible pressure build-up may cause the cell the break
open. Such damage will not be covered under warranty. For valve use, refer to your pool installer/builder.
"Swimming pools contain water with a low level of salinity, free chlorine and other compounds (consult your pool
builder/maintenance provider). Any materials in contact with the pool water should be suitable for this environment.
DAVEY WATER PRODUCTS can not be held responsible for damages that occur to the materials of other products
that come into contact with the water of the pool."
It is recommended to keep the unit switched off when the temperature of the water is lower than 15°C.
Low water temperature can damage the cell materials.
