9.2. Charging process
9.2.1. JOINON Home
The electrical supply connector must not be removed from the vehicle while the charging is being
carried out.
Types of charge
The charging station has two charge modes: nominal (N) and limited (L).
Selecting the nominal charge process the station will carry out the charge with its nominal current.
The limited charge type charges at 10 A for the 20 A nominal current model, whereby the charge process is longer.
Starting the charging process
1.
Insert the key in the side of the station and select the type of charge required. To select nominal charge,
turn the key clockwise to the N position. Conversely, if you require a limited charge to be carried out, turn
the key clockwise to the L position. The key can be left in the slot or it can be removed as required by the
user. Removing the key ensures that the charge process selection is not modified by third parties.
The front LEDs flash yellow when waiting for a vehicle to be connected.
It is possible to change the type of charge during the charging process by turning the key to the required
position.
2.
Connect the vehicle to the charging station.
Ending the charging process
To finish the charge cycle insert the key and turn it to the 0 position. The front LEDs flash yellow when waiting for
a vehicle to be disconnected. Remove the connector from the vehicle.
