Connecting the connection wires of the connection
cable (fig. 8, page 6)
Pink (P1)
➤ Leave this cable free.
This cable has a +12 V signal when the system is activated.
Connecting the CAN bus

Note
Do not mix up the cables. Otherwise the alarm system will not
function.
➤ Connect the red/brown cable (P2) to CAN Low.
➤ Connect the red/grey cable (P3) to CAN High.
Black (P4)
➤ Connect this cable to earth (terminal 31).
Red (P5)
➤ Connect this cable to a cable with a permanent +12 V charge (terminal
+30).
White/black (P6)
This black cable serves as a convenience output. The convenience output is
earthed and can be charged with up to 350 mA.
➤ Connect this cable according to your requirements.
Grey (P7)

Note
When the signal "Engine bonnet up" is available via the CAN-bus,
this cable can be used as an alarm input cable for earth-switched
additional sensors or switches.
➤ Guide this cable through the splash-protection wall to the bonnet contact
switch.
