NSTALLATION
5. Connect the ORANGE (Dimmer) wire to the positive side of the light switch terminal. This will
dim the main display by 30% when the headlights are turned on.
6. Connect the BLUE (Remote B+) wire to the "Remote Turn-On" leads of the amplifier(s). This will
turn-on the external amplifiers when the source unit is powered on.
7. Connect the BLUE/RED (Auto Ant) wire to the "Power Antenna" lead. This will raise a fully
automatic antenna when the source unit is powered on and the unit is in Tuner Mode.
8. Connect the GREEN (Brake) wire to a switch that provides ground when the vehicle is in park
(automatic transmission) or the parking brake is on (manual or automatic transmission). This is
required for the accessory video screen to be viewed.
9. Connect the AUX INPUT to the external audio source (this inserts the audio before the volume
control on the source unit). The input voltage this circuit can accept is 1–3V RMS.
10. Connect the VIDEO IN to a external video source. The source unit is used for switching
between the DVD viewing and an external source.
11. Connecting Center Speaker (Not using RCA connection)
Connect the Center Speaker Wires to the corresponding speaker leads by soldering and heat shrinking
all connections for a reliable installation. DO NOT chassis ground any speaker leads as damage to the
system may result.
12. Install the Preamp Output Harness by plugging the RCA cables into the corresponding RCAs that
feed the input of the amplifiers. Be sure to route the signal cables away from any high current
wires to prevent coupling noise from radiated electrical fields into the audio signal. The LINE
OUT FRONT white and red RCAs connect to the Front speaker's amplifier. The LINE OUT
REAR white and red RCAs connect to the Rear speaker's amplifier. The Gray RCA connects to
the Subwoofer amplifier. The Black RCA connects to the Center speaker's amplifier
13. Connect a RCA video cable from the source unit Yellow RCA Video output to an accessory
video screen. Required for DVD and advance menu viewing.
14. Connect the Antenna by plugging the antenna cable into the connector located at the rear of the
source unit. Be sure the antenna is securely grounded to the vehicle for proper radio reception.

SETTING SPEAKER CONFIGURATION

NOTE: Speaker options must be setup when the unit is first installed for the speaker output to
function properly.
1. Insert a DVD into the unit. This is required for accessing the setup menu.
2. Press and hold the SETUP button {Volume Center} S (Set-Up) on the remote until the menu
setup screen appears.
3. Use the 8/
and 9/
menu selections.
4. Move the cursor to select SPEAKERS, press the ENTER button (ENT on joystick) to enter into the
speaker menu.
At this time we are only interested in setting which size and if the speaker is available.
Adjustments can be made later for personal preference.
5. Move the cursor to select SPEAKER TYPE, press the ENTER button (ENT on joystick) to enter into
the speaker type menu.
6. Select the speaker size for FRONT by pressing. ENTER. Select LARGE if speakers are designed to
operate "full range". Select SMALL for speakers intended to operate 100Hz and above.
7. Select the speaker size for CENTER by pressing. ENTER. Select LARGE if speakers are designed
to operate "full range". Select SMALL for speakers intended to operate 100Hz and above. Select
NONE if no speaker is being used.
