Step 4 – Jog Z1 down by pressing the button "Jog Z1
Down" to End Stop (The Saw will Beep and stop)
Step 5 – Disable Axes using the "Disable Axes" button
shown in Figure 157.

Figure 159 shows the Z-axis sitting on hard stops which
prevent the axis from moving down any further.
Step 6 – Lock out and tag out to ensure it is safe to
begin working inside the machine.

Always use OSHA approved lock out tag out procedure.
Step 7 – Open door.
Step 8 – Remove cover by removing the 6 screws on
top.
This will be a tight fit with the top on the machine. Figure 160
shows the screw locations with the top of the machine removed.
