There is not enough milk froth.
The milk froth is too bubbly.
The Auto-Cappuccino accessory does not suck
the milk (accessory sold separately).
After filling the water tank, the warning mes-
sage is still displayed.
The cleaning or descaling programme will not
start.
After emptying the used coffee collector, the
warning message is still displayed.
After washing the cleaning drawer, the warning
message is still displayed.
The power has been cut off during a cycle.
There is water or coffee underneath the
appliance.
A message "Error code XX" appears.
PROBLEMS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
Using the needle supplied unblock the small air inlet at the top of the nozzle
if required.
Use a cold container and milk that has been opened recently.
Try changing the type of milk if this does not work (UHT or pasteurised).
Check that the two ends of the small stainless steel tube are fitted correctly
into the flexible part of the steam nozzle.
Ensure that the tube immersed in the milk is not blocked.
Check that the flexible tube is not twisted and that it is correctly fitted into
the accessory to avoid any air being sucked in.
After switching of your appliance and leaving it to cool, unblock the outlet of
the Auto-Cappuccino accessory.
Check that the tank is fitted correctly onto the coffee machine.
Check that the float at the bottom of the tank moves freely.
Rinse the tank and descale if necessary.
Unplug the appliance for 20 seconds then switch it back on.
Remove the collector, ensure that it is empty, wait for 6 seconds and fit it
back in place.
Check that the collector is pushed in correctly.
Remove the drawer, wait for 6 seconds and fit it back in place.
Check that the cleaning drawer is pushed in correctly.
The appliance resets itself automatically when the power is switched back
on and is ready for a new cycle.
The drip tray has overflowed: empty it and clean the cleaning drawer.
Check that the drip tray is fitted correctly.
Do not remove the water tank before the end of the cycle.
Unplug the appliance for 20 seconds, remove the Claris cartridge and if
required, put it back into service.
If the fault persists, note the fault number and contact KRUPS' Customer
Service.
