To disconnect the quick-attachment, it is
sufficient to push the collar back and the
hose will be released automatically (practice
this operation in order to eventually intervene
in case of continuous air flow due to a
blockage during diving, this operation will
immediately interrupt the air flow).
Attention!
If the air flow continues, the Air Control device
makes it possible to interrupt the flow
immediately. You must put your left hand on the
quick-attachment of the hose, push back the collar,
and the hose will be released automatically,
interrupting the air flow. To fill the stabilizing with
air again, you must use the oral inflation system
located in the right-hand pocket of the jacket.
Attention!
We recommend trying the use of the discharge
button with the power inflator in pressure on the
surface: underwater, a too-quick inflation may
cause uncontrolled emersion, causing serious
risk and possibly fatal injuries to the diver!
Warning!
In case of dives in cold water, we recommend
limiting this operation to the minimum in order not
to run the risk of freezing the mechanical parts.
Warning!
By releasing the intake button, it must stop
immediately. If this should not occur, contact an
authorized SEAC Diving Pro Centre immediately
for the necessary controls.
Inflate the stabilizing jacket fully and wait
about 15 minutes. If the stabilizing jacket
starts to deflate, do not use it and contact an
authorized SEAC Diving Pro assistance
centre immediately.
Before diving, do not place the stabilizing
jacket in the sun and do not lean it against
sharp, pointed, or rough surfaces like rocks
or anything else that could damage it. Avoid
leaving the jacket on sandy surfaces as well.
Adjust the shoulder straps and the harness to
facilitate a better fit, loosen the shoulder
straps to the maximum opening and proceed
with putting on the weight belt. Slip your
arms through the shoulder straps, paying
attention to leave the low pressure hose and
the corrugated hoses above the shoulder,
lock the straps evenly, (Drawing 21) then
close the sternal buckle. The right and left
shoulder straps must ensure a perfect fit of
the stabilizing jacket to the person. The waist
strap must be closed by overlapping the
parts in Velcro. Then close the central 50 mm
clip, adjusting the tension with the special
belts. (Drawing 22). Verify that at the
conclusion of this operation, there are no
problems in movements or breathing
problems or shortness of breath.
If you enter the water from a boat, remember
not to inflate the bag excessively in order to
avoid violent repercussions. To increase
surface buoyancy, inflate the bag by using
the orange button located in the centre of the
power inflator.
