Dumping air on the surface by means of
the control unit
Important!!
Pushing both grey discharge buttons at the
same time will cause no problem.
This action will cause the automatic opening
of both the valves with the immediate
dumping of air. The "one way" system
(membrane in silicone located on the flange)
will not allow water inside the bag.
In the cases mentioned above, once your
descent has begun, the speed tends to
increase and must be compensated with
rapid strokes on the intake button.
Having reached the desired depth, hold the
intake button until you have regulated your
buoyancy in order to find neutral buoyancy.
During your stay on the bottom, you must
carry out only slight corrections to
compensate for slight variations in quotas
and the progressive lightening of the tanks
due to air consumption.
Attention!
We recommend the use of the stabilizing jacket
only as a compensator for your underwater
buoyancy! Inflating the stabilizing jacket to lift
heavy objects from the sea floor can be
extremely dangerous, causing uncontrolled
ascents and serious or fatal injuries to the diver
and his companions.
During the ascent, you can maintain
buoyancy by slightly pressing the dump
button, allowing a gradual release of excess
air; in case of necessity, a prolonged and
stronger pressure allows a dumping of air
sufficient to control the speed of ascent.
If a rapid dumping is unexpectedly
necessary, we recommend activating the
upper overpressure valve by pulling on its
orange knob.
