Do not permit unauthorised personnel to work on batteries.
ATTENTION! This UPS is not designed for outdoor usage.
ATTENTION! Always install the same number and type of substitute batteries.
ATTENTION! Internal battery voltage is 12V DC. Batteries are hermetic lead.
ATTENTION! Do not throw batteries into fire, they could explode. Do not open or tamper with batteries. Electrolyte leaks
from the batteries could cause skin and eye injuries.
ATTENTION! Always disconnect the UPS unit from the power source before cleaning it. Do not use liquid detergents or
sprays.
ATTENTION! Batteries can cause electric shocks and release powerful short-circuit current. Therefore, always proceed as
follows to replace the batteries:

ATTENTION! In case of prolonged storage in a temperate climate, batteries must be charged for 12 hours at 3 month
intervals, connecting the UPS to the mains and turning the device on. Repeat this procedure every 2 months
if the storage environment temperature exceeds 30C.
ATTENTION! Install the UPS unit in a protected, ventilated area free of dust. Keep it at least 20 cm away from other
devices to prevent interference problems. DO NOT use the UPS unit if the temperature is higher or lower than
the 0-40°C interval (with humidity 0-90%).
ATTENTION! Connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet. For best results, we recommend you charge the battery for 8
hours before using the unit for the first time. The unit charges the battery even if it is connected to a load.
Take off your watch, rings or other metal jewellery.
Use tools with insulated grips.
Wear rubber gloves and boots.
Do not put metal tools or objects over batteries.
Disconnect the power source before connecting and disconnecting battery clamps.
