Ferritic parts in the vicinity of
the proximity switch
Cylinder is distorted
Seal worn
Air volume not sufficient
High friction or counteracting
force
Remedy
If possible reduce the exhaust
(not the supply air)
Grease guide rail as described
in chapter "care and
maintenance"
Use parts made of
non−magnetic materials
Fasten the cylinder to a flat
base
Replace worn parts:
yourself with wearing parts
kit
by returning to Festo for
repairs
Select tubing with larger
diameter
Switch volume upstream
Select larger drive
