4.1 Installation
You are welcome to install your stove yourself – but we strongly recommend that you consult your chimney
sweeper before you begin the installation. It is important to ensure that the installation of the stove is in
compliance with all local rules and regulations, including the ones relating to national and European
standards. Your dealer can also provide you with installation advice. Remember, it is your responsibility that
rules in force are complied with.
To ensure a clean and efficient combustion, the stove needs a constant uninterrupted air supply. This is
often a problem in modern energy-efficient houses that are very airtight. The amount of air needed for
combustion is 25 m3/h. This stove can be provided with combustion air through a channel from the outside
which is connected to the connecting pipe behind the stove.
If there are any problems with the functioning of the chimney, these must be solved before installing the
stove.
When connecting the stove to the smoke drain and flue tubes, carefully check if all connections are sealed to
make sure that no gasses escape to the room.
