Replacing
• Park the vehicle on flat ground.
• Start the engine and warm it up for several minutes.

• Stop the engine.
• Remove crankcase C by loosening the four screws, V.
• Place an oil pan under the engine and remove the filler cap, R.
• Remove the drain screw, S, and screw F to drain the oil.
• Reinstall the drain screw and then tighten it to the specified
torque.
Drain screw tightening torque: 17/18 Nm (1.7/1.8 Kgm)
• Fill the engine with oil until this is dripping from the level control
hole, F. Fit the screw back into hole F, install the oil filler cap, R,
and tighten it.
The use of SAE 10W 40 oil is recommended.

• Refit crankcase C and secure in place by tightening the four
screws, V.

Do not mix any chemical additives with the oil. Trans-
mission oil also lubricates the clutch and chemical ad-
ditives may cause slippage.
Dispose of oil in accordance to the laws in force: DO
NOT DISPOSE OF WASTE OIL IN THE ENVIRONMENT.
During this operation, avoid any contact with the cylin-
der: DANGER OF SCORCHING.
Start the engine and let it warm up for a few minutes. While it is
warming up, check for oil leakage. If oil is leaking, immediately
turn off the engine and locate the cause.
Check oil level every 3000 km. (1864.11mi)
Change oil every 6000 km. (3728.23mi)
Engine crankcase capacity 0.82 L.
