Connect the integrated, inductive reference switch 8 as follows:

Protecting the end positions against uncontrolled overrunning:
Check whether additional inductive proximity switches are necessary.

Use switching lugs and inductive

proximity switches with normally−closed
function.
These will protect the EGSA against
overrunning the end position if the
proximity switch cable is broken.

Please note
If used in safety relevant applications, additional measures are necessary,
e.g. in Europe the standards listed under the EC Machinery Directive must be
observed.
Without additional measures in accordance with legally specified minimum
requirements, the product is not suitable as a safety relevant component in
control systems.
