Congratulations on the purchase of your FastFerment™ Insulated Jacket.
The FastFerment™ Insulated Jacket allows you to create the ideal temperature for
brewing & winemaking in your FastFerment™. It works with the wall mount or with
the stand. We are pleased to help you in getting the Insulated Jacket installed.
We want to do everything possible to make your home-brewing and winemaking an
awesome experience.
Enclosed in this package:
• FastFerment™ Insolated Jacket
• 2 Velcro patches
• 8 strings and 8 clips
User Tips:
• Make sure you roughly have the same amount of weight on each bracket so the
weight is distributed evenly.
• Zip up the rest of your zipper from back to front, leaving the zippers in front so they
are easy to access.
• We suggest you place a towel on the floor below your Insulated Jacket, just in case
there is condensation or your bottles leak.

Making ice

1. We suggest you use regular, plastic 2 litre soda bottles, as they are strong and can be reused many times.
2. Fill the bottle with water, but leave roughly 7 cm or 3" of air space at the top of the bottle for expanding ice.
• Failure to do this will result in your bottles bursting either in your freezer or in your Insulated Jacket.
• It typically takes at least 48 hours in a standard freezer to freeze 2 litres of water solid.
3. How much ice do I need?
The Insulated Jacket works great up to 17°C drop below room temperature.
