7
For cutting-line control of bevel cuts, the "Cut
Control" viewing window 12 has a mark 29 for 0°
right-angle cuts and two marks each for the left- or
rightward sloping 45 bevel cut according to scale
25. For attachment of the cutting-line control with
the "Cut Control" base 13 to the base plate 7, the
inside mark 30 applies. For attachment of the "Cut
Control" viewing window 12 directly to the sliding
shoe 11, the outer mark 31 applies.
The cutting mark for bevel cuts between 0° and
45° results proportionally. It can additionally be
drawn on the "Cut Control" viewing window 12
with a non-permanent marker, and easily be re-
moved again.
For accurate working, it is best to carry out a
test cut.
Offsetting the Base Plate
For sawing close to edges, the base plate 7 can
be offset to the rear.
PST 900 PEL (see figure G):
– Pull the saw blade storage 21 out of the base
plate 7.
– Loosen the screw 24 and slide the base plate
7 toward the vacuum connection 5 to the stop.
– Tighten the screw 24 again.
PST 1000 PEL (see figure H):
– Release the base plate clamping lever 6 and
push the base plate 7 to the stop in the direc-
tion of the vacuum connection 5.
– Close the base plate clamping lever 6 to lock
the base plate in the adjusted position.
Sawing with the base plate 7 offset is possible
only at a 0° bevel angle. Additionally, "Cut Con-
trol" may not be used together with the base 13,
the parallel guide with circle cutter 26 (accesso-
ry), as well as the splinter guard 22.

To lock the On/Off switch 3, keep it depressed
and push the lock-on button 1 to the right or
left.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off
switch 3. When the On/Off switch 3 is locked,
press it first and then release it.
Switching on the sawdust blow-
er device:For cuts in materials
with high removal rate, such as
in wood, plastic, etc., push the
switch 9 toward the vacuum
connection.
Switching off the sawdust blow-
er device:For cuts in metal and
when a dust extraction system is
connected, push the switch 9 to-
ward the saw blade.
Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage
of the power source must agree with the
voltage specified on the nameplate of the
machine. Power tools marked with 230 V
can also be operated with 220 V.
Do not look directly into the work area illu-
mination – your sight can be temporarily de-
graded!
