11. Mk 1 INSTALLATION
Turn off and disconnect all power going to
the grey waste tank.
Disconnect the two wires going from the
float switch to the power source, pump or
electrical system in the boat (Fig 6).
Pull the wires through the hole in the top of
the grey waste tank.
Pop the body of the white float switch to
remove from its base. Using a screw driver
as a lever, leave the base and screws of
the float switch in their original position, so
as to not disturb the seal created during
manufacture.
Discard the clear lid supplied in the
AK1001B kit as it does not replace the
original white lid.
Mark and drill two holes 80mm (3.15")
apart for the supplied screws to pass
through to hold the two support rods of
the sensor arrangement. Attach the
sensor arrangement and pass the wires
up through the original wire hole (Fig 7).
