8 Operation

THE AUTOCLAVE IS SUPPLIED WITH THE VESSEL DOOR
THE DOOR OPENING IS ONLY POSSIBLE BY ACTIVATING THE

8.1 Preliminary operations for switch on

- Switch on by means of the main power switch (Fig 6.7).
- Fill the tank (see Fig 8.1) with about 8 litres of water.
Check the water height in the tank by means of the water level in the left
front side.
We recommend to change the water after 50 uses or once a month.
- Check the steam outlet valve is closed (12).
- Put the tray at the bottom of the vessel.
- Place the items to be sterilised.
- Close the door.
Note:
When the autoclave is cold, do a prewarming-up for 10 - 15 minutes before
switching on.
To do the prewarming-up:
Plug the machine, swith the main power switch on and let the machine on
for 10-15 minutes.
8.1.1 Opening and closing the loading and unloading
door:
There exist a couple of safety devices which block the opening door if it's not
safe to do so.
- Door opening and closing must be done by previously informed staff.
- Before opening the door, the user will make sure that the autoclave cycle
is already finished and that there no exists pressure inside the vessel.

8.1.2 Cautions during usage:

The LCD display indications will be periodically checked. Pressure must not be
higher than acceptable maximum pressure (PS = 2,5 bar)
