RACK EQUIPMENT MOUNTING
The OIP Patch Panel Bracket allows the mounting of one or a
combination of devices up to 4RU by mounting on the steel channel
raceway (item 12).

INSTALLING THE PATCH PANEL BRACKET
1. Position patch panel bracket (item 6) at the desired
position on the steel channel (figure 10).
2. Mount the patch panel bracket to steel channel using
½"-13 x 1" hex bolts and connecting hardware per the
steel channel manufacturer's recommendations.
3. By rotating the patch panel bracket it can be mounted
above or below the channel as desired.
FINAL COMMISSIONING OF FRAME SYSTEM
It is recommended that a final commissioning inspection of all mounting hardware be performed.
The inspection at a minimum should assure:
1. All fasteners are in place,
2. Tightness of all hardware to manufacturer's recommended values,
3. Anchors are fully seated and no slippage has occurred,
4. Bonding and grounding complies with ANSI-J-STD-607-A standards,
5. Installation complies with local AHJ codes and requirements.
