TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Condition
Unit will not turn on - No GREEN or
RED LED illuminated on control cap
Unit runs briefly, won't develop
pressure, then turns off
Unit won't start with water demand
Unit continuously cycles ON/OFF

Unit won't turn on
Unit runs or cycles continuously
NOTE: The motor in this unit contains thermal protection that responds to motor current and heat from the motor winding and ambient
temperature. When the combination of current and heat exceeds a pre-determined point, the protector opens and interrupts the circuit.
When the winding temperature returns to a more normal level, the protector will automatically reset.

Possible Cause
Turn on the circuit breaker
Consult a licensed electrician to
properly wire outlet
Check water supply and valving
Refer to owner's manual section on proper
priming technique
Check water supply and valving
Install a pressure reducing valve on inlet to
reduce inlet pressure
Set the pressure in pressure tank to 2 psi
lower than cut-in pressure
Place check valve after pressure tank
Press the power button on the user interface
Check the supply voltage and correct if possible
Check the supply voltage and correct if possible
Reset pump by pressing power button
Repair the leaking plumbing
Place a new non-return valve before unit in
INLET plumbing
Clean the flow piston (see page 14)
