Input level adjustment for Aux and Optical
If the volume when listening to Aux or Optical input is
noticeably lower than when listening to other sources
then you may need to increase the input level.
If the volume is higher and distorts you should decrease
the input level.
To adjust the input level, select the source you wish to
adjust, then press and hold the corresponding source
button on the remote control until all 3 LEDs flash.
Use the volume buttons on the remote or the volume
knob to change the level (1 LED = low, 3 LEDs = high)
then press the knob to confirm your selection and all 3
LEDs will flash.
Snooze mode
To save power, your MR1 will automatically go into
snooze mode after 20 minutes of inactivity and
automatically turn back on when you resume audio
playback. This applies to all modes including Bluetooth,
which remains active during this time. When in snooze
mode, the source LED will gently pulse.
Disabling snooze mode
To disable snooze mode, switch on your MR1, and
then press and hold the standby button on the remote
for 5 seconds until all the LEDs flash twice. To re-enable
it, press the standby button for 5 seconds until all the
LEDs flash once.
Wall mounting
Your MR1 speakers can be wall mounted using the
integrated 1/4-20 UNC threaded insert on the back.

BackPack battery pack compatible
Your MR1 are fully compatible with the Ruark Audio
BackPack battery pack so you can use them where
mains power is not available.
If your BackPack battery pack can be switched off, we
recommend that you do so when not using your MR1 as
even in standby they will slowly drain the batteries.
