13.12 "Automatic defrost" mode
You can gently defrost frozen food with the help of the "Automatic defrost" menu.
To set the defrost time, proceed as follows:
Select the defrosting program by pressing the button Defrost.
Select the quantity/weight you require by turning the control dial time/weight
until you reach the level you require. You can set the weight from 100 g -
1.800 g.
After setting the defrost quantity, press the button Start/Quickstart, to start
automatic defrosting.
► Stop the oven occasionally to remove the unthawed frozen food or to separate it. If the
frozen food has not been defrosted at the end of the estimated defrosting time, proceed
as follows:
► Programme the oven in 100g increments, until the frozen food is completely defrosted.
► When using plastic containers out of the deep-freeze, the defrosting process should
only last long enough to be able to remove the frozen food out of the container, after
which it can be placed into a microwave-resistant container.
