7 Inspection

7.2 Before each journey

1. General visual inspection of the fifth wheel kingpins and their receiving
construction for fixation, wear, cracks and damage.
2. Perform tug test: Set the semi-trailer brake and drive the fifth wheel
tractor away in a low gear – the semi-trailer must not disengage.
