Disposing of damaged or exhausted

Do not dispose of discarded batteries together
with ordinary household waste. In accordance
with the law, damaged or exhausted batteries
must be taken to the nearest collection
point for batteries or a battery management
company. Failure to comply with these
regulations may render you liable to fine or
other penalty.
