4.9 POWER LIFTS
4.9.1 Lifting and lowering power lift
To operate the lift, use lever N° 8 fig. 1, pulling the ring under the handgrip.
Pull the lever up to raise the implement. The implement remains in this position
when the lever is released.
Move the lever downwards to lower the implement.
The lift will be set to floating position when the lever is fully lowered, allowing the
hitched implements to follow the contours of the ground.
The tractor is equipped with a single-acting hydraulic tap to raise a trailer
platform.
The hydraulic tap is controlled by the same lever as the power lift (N° 8 fig. 1)
and operates when the lift cylinders reach end of stroke. The tractor can be
equipped (on request) with a double-acting control valve N° 24 fig.1, Mod.26-30;
n.25 fig.2, for Mod.45
The 3rd point hitch (N° 31 fig.15) MUST NOT be used to tow implements.
Maximum weight at lift links: 1000 Kg.
4.9.1.1 Stiffening rod adjuster (mod.30SN-40SN-30A-40A)
The tractor has a system that allows the lift link stiffening rods to be adjusted to
make the implement more stable in a crosswise direction.
Unscrew screws N° 2 fig. 22 of blade N° 1 fig. 22:
total positioning towards the inside of the tractor when the wheel track is at its
minimum setting, fully all-out position when enabled by the track width setting.
4.9.1.2 Length of upper rods
The power lift links of the tractor are equipped with a pair of adjustable rods.
To allow the implements to operate in the correct way, obtain a dimension A (fig.
25) of 450 mm by means of the threaded rod.
4.9.2 Position control and draft control power lift
The tractor can be equipped with a power lift for position and draft control.
Unless different indications are given, the operations described below are the
same for both power lift modes.
Along with this lift, the tractor is equipped with a double-acting control valve
operated by lever N° 2 fig.20.
