Install The Intake Manifold
1. Carefully position the intake manifold on the engine. Align the bolt holes in the manifold with the bolt holes in the cylinder
head. See Figure 14.
2. Apply thread sealer to the threads of the bolts that are exposed to water or oil.
3. Insert and start the intake manifold bolts by hand. See Figure 15 for the bolt tightening sequence. Torque the intake
manifold bolts to 25 ft-lbs.
