Prepare carpet
Notice:
Vacuum the carpet before working with the
carpet cleaning machine.
For visible stains, treat the carpet with a
TASKI stain remover. Please contact your
Diversey service partner for help.
• Spray a 10% solution across the entire surface with the
help of the spray device and spray lance; leave to work for
10-15 minutes.
Fill tank
Notice:
Only use chemical products according to
manufacturers' recommendations.
The correct dose is specified on the prod-
uct packaging and in the "TASKI product
information sheet".
Attention:
The use of other products (e.g. products
with chlorous contents) may damage or
destroy the machine.
Max. permissible water temperature
40 °C/104 °F.
• Fold up the bumper until it latches in
the retainer bolts.
• Screw on the drain hose and clamp it
in the hose holder.
• Mount the recovery tank cover.
• Connect the two tank cover connec-
tion hoses to the basic machine.
Connect the suction hose, spray wa-
ter hose and the main connection
cord.

Beginning work with the machine
• Press both switches.
• Set the water quantity regulation to
maximum.
• Begin in the furthest corner.
• Press the spray valve action lever.
The water is sprayed onto the carpet
and immediately sucked up again.
• Pull the extension cord towards you.
The slower you pull it, the more thor-
ough the cleaning.
• Using the rotary button for water
quantity regulation, adjust the appro-
priate water quantity according to the
carpet to be cleaned.
• Release the action lever for the spray
valve and suction approx. 10 cm fur-
ther.
• Lift off the squeegee.
• Start a new strip. For this, the squee-
gee should overlap a part of the pre-
vious strip.
Continue working in this system.
Notice:
To avoid water splashes:
Before disconnecting the spray hose, al-
ways:
- Switch the pump switch to OFF.
- Operate the manual valve again in order
to reduce the pressure in the spray hose.
Attention:
Push the machine by the handle.
In case of smaller bumps or offsets:
Tilt the machine by pressing the handle
until the caster wheels overcome the ob-
stacle; only then tilt the machine back to
horizontal position.
In case of larger offsets or steps:
Tilt the machine and pull it backwards over
the step.
Transport over stairs
Notice:
The machine must only be transported
over stairs by two persons.
• Switch off the machine.
• Unplug the mains plug.
Attention:
Lifting the machine can be dangerous un-
der any circumstances!
Stumbling may cause personal injuries or
machine damage.
Attention:
The attached accessories must be re-
moved before lifting!
