INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Fits: 2011-2014 Ford Fiesta
(4 Dr. Sedan)
2006-2009 Ford Fusion
2010-2012 ford Fusion
(All Models, Inc. Hybrid)
Kit Includes:
(1) T-Connector Harness (1) ATC Fuse Holder

(1) Ground Screw (1) 10/12 Ga. Butt Connector
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the vehicle trunk and remove the plastic threshold
(Fig. 1A) and the cargo flooring that covers the spare tire
(Fig. 1B). Carefully pull back the cargo liner from each side
of the trunk to expose the vehicle's tail light wiring harness
connectors. The connectors will be similar to those on the
T-Connector harness (Fig. 2).
3. Beginning on the left (driver's) side, separate the vehicle
tail light harness connectors, taking care not to damage the
locking tabs. The connectors should be clean and free of dirt
or debris. Clean the connectors if necessary.
4. Insert the T-Connector ends containing Yellow wire in
between the separated vehicle connectors, pressing firmly
together until they lock into place. Take care not to damage
the locking tabs.
5. Route the T-Connector ends with the Green wires out
from behind the trim panel under the plastic threshold to the
passenger side of the vehicle.
Caution: Avoid any points that might pinch or damage
the wires.
6. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the right (passenger) side, using the
T-Connector ends with the Green wires.
7. Raise the vehicle's hood and disconnect the Negative (-)
battery cable.
8. Route the 12 gauge coiled black wire from the battery
compartment under the vehicle along the frame on the left
(driver's) side (Fig. 3). Locate a small access hole under the
vehicle and route the wire up into the harness area within the
vehicle trunk. Secure the wire to the vehicle using cable ties
provided.
Caution: Avoid any exhaust, hot pipes, heat shields, the
fuel tank or any other points that might pinch or damage
the wires. When routing wire through metal or other sharp
surfaces, always utilize an existing grommet, provide a
grommet or insulate the wire from the hole with silicone
rubber.
9. Cut the wire loop on the supplied fuse holder in a central
position and strip approximately 5/16" of insulation from each
end. Crimp one end of the fuse holder to the black wire near
the vehicle battery using the yellow butt connector provided.
Crimp the opposite end of the fuse holder to the supplied ring
terminal.
10. With the fuse removed, attach the 3/8" ring terminal to the
vehicles positive (+) battery terminal (Fig. 4).
Warning: Do not attempt to connect the black power wire
to the vehicle fuse panel or any other accessory wiring.
Failure to connect directly to the vehicle battery could
cause vehicle damage and/or trailer lighting failure.
11. At the rear of the vehicle, Strip 5/16" of insulation from

the black 12 Ga. wire and connect it to the black wire on the
T-Connector using the butt connector provided.
12. Locate a clean accessible mounting location on the
vehicle within reach of the white wire and drill a 3/32" hole.
Caution: Take care not to drill through the body or any
exposed surface.
13. Mount the white wire using the ground screw and ring
terminal provided.
14. Reattach the vehicles Negative (-) battery wire.
15. Place the 10 amp fuse into the fuse holder installed in step 10.
16. Confirm trailer harness operation with a test light or by
using a properly equipped trailer.
Note: All connections must be complete for the
T-Connector to function.
17. Mount the T-Connector's black box using the foam tape
supplied. Secure all loose wires using the cable ties provided.
18. Return the rear threshold and all liners to their original
positions. Store the T-Connector's 4-Flat trailer harness in the
trunk when not in use.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
1. Lea las instrucciones a fondo antes de comenzar.
2. Abrir el maletero del vehículo y quitar el umbral de plástico
(Fig. 1A) y el suelo de carga que cubre la rueda de repuesto
(Fig. 1B). Tire cuidadosamente el buque de carga de cada lado
del tronco para exponer la luz trasera Conectores eléctricos
del vehículo. Los conectores serán similares a aquellos en el
arnés T-Conector (Fig. 2).
3. Comenzando por el lado izquierdo (del conductor), separe
los conectores del mazo de luz trasera del vehículo, teniendo
cuidado de no dañar los enganches. Los conectores deben
estar limpias y libres de suciedad o residuos. Limpie los
conectores si es necesario.
4. Inserte el T-Connector termina conteniendo alambre
amarillo entre los conectores de vehículos separados,
presionando firmemente hasta que queden bloqueados en su
lugar. Tenga cuidado de no dañar los enganches.
5. Pase el T-Connector termina con los hilos verdes de
detrás del panel de ajuste por debajo del umbral de plástico

Precaución: Evite los puntos que puedan pellizcar o dañar
los cables.
6. Repita los pasos 3 y 4 para el lado derecho (pasajero),

un pequeño agujero de acceso debajo del vehículo y coloque
el cable hasta el área arnés dentro del maletero del vehículo.
Asegure el cable al vehículo usando las ataduras de cables
proporcionadas.
Precaución: Evitar cualquier escape, tuberías calientes,
escudos de calor, el tanque de combustible o cualquier
otro punto que podría pellizcar o dañar los cables. Cuando
el enrutamiento de alambre a través de otras superficies
afiladas de metal o, siempre utilizar un ojal existente,
proporcionar un ojal o aísle el cable desde el agujero con
caucho de silicona.
9. Cortar el lazo metálico en el portafusibles se suministra
en una posición central y pele aproximadamente 5/16" de
aislamiento de cada extremo. Crimp un extremo de la caja
de fusibles al alambre negro cerca de la batería del vehículo
utilizando el conector de tope amarillo proporcionado. Unir el
extremo opuesto del soporte del fusible a la terminal de anillo
suministrado.
10. Con el fusible removido, una el terminal de 3/8" anillo

Advertencia: No intente conectar el cable de alimentación
negro al panel de fusibles del vehículo o cualquier otro
cableado accesorio. Si no se conecta directamente a la
batería del vehículo podría causar daños al vehículo y / o
el fracaso iluminación del remolque.
11. En la parte trasera del vehículo, Traje de 5/16" de
aislamiento del negro 12 Ga. Alambre y conectarlo al cable
negro en el T-Connector utilizando el conector de tope
proporcionada.
12. Busque un lugar limpio y accesible en el vehículo dentro
del alcance del alambre blanco y taladrar un agujero de 3/32".
